Newbie basic question

OOTP 21 is my first experience with the game.
If I download and install 22 does it overlay 21 or can I still finish my
ongoing season using OOTP21?

You can actually transfer your 21 season to 22. It's Glorious

If you download and install 22 you can immediately import your game from 21 and start playing in 22, or you can finish your current game in 21 - either way is fine.

Yeah, to specifically answer the OP's question. OOTP22 is a completely separate installation and will not affect your OOTP21 game.

Thanks guys for the quick reply.
I read that sometimes a league migrated to a new version may not
play in quite the same way so I wanted to be sure I could fall back to 21.
