Starting franchise and updated player ratings

Gents,

I want to start my franchise later tonight. My concern is, if I start now, will I lose out on any updates made to rosters and ratings that OOTP releases on Opening Day?

If so, I'd rather hold off. My hope is that I can start today and any updates carry over into the franchise/season that I begin tonight.

Thank you, Lukas. Is a big update anticipated for Opening Day? For example, if I'm going to play an Angels franchise, should I hold off on starting it until April 1? Thanks!

There will be a lot of changes for OD, yeah. So I would wait till then before starting a really serious franchise.
