Importing From OOTP21

Is it normal to see the same folders being repeatedly copied in the status bar below 'Please Wait?' I'm tempted to hit ESC to Cancel, but I don't want to screw up the import.

It must be normal because it finished. I was getting worried because it seemed to be taking longer than some of the other people here reported it took them.

Can someone explain to me how to import my saved 21 game, into 22. I have a mac, and cant figure it out....

Yes, the folder structure often duplicates the same folder in different locations (for example, news/html/box_scores vs news/txt/box_scores), and often the scroll at the top will only tell you the last folder in the list.

I'm importing a OOTP21 league that's played 12 seasons and it's still importing, an hour and 45 minutes later.

I guess this is because I kept detailed archives and it's copying of all that over.

My suggestion for OOTP23 is to incorporate a "time remaining" when importing, or archiving, or backing up.

Yeah. The speed it imports totally depends on how much data you kept in the league (not to mention your system specs, hd fragmentation etc), so it will be different for each user and each league.

I've never imported from an old version before - if I import a custom game from 2021 will it bring over all the logos/jerseys/facegen etc?

I believe that it should. My import had some user-added logos and uniforms and they all came in correctly.
