Coach-Player Cohesion

Not sure if this is a bug or not. I tried to sign a free agent and got a response from the player that he was not interested in playing for my manager. So I went into global settings and set the Coach Cohesion Impact to none. However, I'm still getting the same response form the free agent. So is this a bug or is the Coach Cohesion Impact not the place to address this? If not, how do I turn off a free agent not signing because of my manager (as a side note, my manager's personality is personable).

Coach Cohesion is only the impact coaches have on each other. I don't believe Coach Cohesion is meant to impact how a player reacts to a managers personality. The Setting you may be looking to take off would be the Player Personality Settings found under the Players & Facegen tab. I'm pretty sure the Player Morale system is the one that controls that aspect of the game.
