Continue button to play game doesn't work

When trying to start the next game from the continue button, nothing happens. I'm forced to click play and then next game.

I just reached Spring Training with my imported 13-year league and the Continue button shows the next game to be played but nothing happens when I click on it, I have to start the game from the "scores" page.

I've experienced this too. It only seems to apply during Spring Training. Once you get to the regular season the button works. Also, sometimes the button changes to "advance one week" or something like that, and that button works, as it does during the off season. The button works when it advances one day at a time, too, if there is no game. There does not appear to be a rhyme or reason to when it allows me to advance a week via the button and when it wants me to play the game. Advancing time from the play drop down menu still works (indeed, this is what I did, as I normally don't play/watch spring training games). Overall, this appears to be highly inconsistent and unintended behavior from the advance button, but hopefully this detailed analysis helps.

Can someone having this happen upload a save where it's happening so we can take a look at it? Thanks!

I only have 1 Mbit (125 kb/s) upload speed and the save in question is 4 GB so probably one of you two should do the upload as quick math says that'd tie my internet up for 9 hours.

You only have to send the .dat files and can zip them, so for most people that will cut down the size a lot. You can also skip the faces.dat file too. But yes, someone who is seeing this, please do send in your files so we can see why it's not triggering properly.

That cuts it down to around 350 MB. If no one else can I'll upload it tonight when I no longer need to use my internet for other things and can spare the bandwidth, though I'll also add I've used the play menu to get past this part of the season so I'm no longer actively at the site of the bug either if that matters, I just ignored it with my own workaround at the time.

If you're not actively there anymore that's less useful unfortunately. If it always happens for people in spring it might be easier to track down. We'll have a look today and hopefully can figure it out.

Yeah, it was only spring training games. Regular season the button works as designed. At least for me. I wonder if it might perhaps be a UI issue because my monitor is locked to 1360x768 and the game is even smaller than that because I prefer it windowed. The buttons are kinda squished in general and sometimes don't work unless you hit them *just right* but I've just taken that to be a personal problem because I don't have a great monitor. I wonder if everyone else with the same issue has similar problems. I'm probably just talking nonsense though.

Yep, sorry about that. I see the problem and we should be able to have a fix in the first patch.
