Alternatives to video reveals

I am an odd duck, I suppose, but I would much prefer a written summation of the updates, rather than watch a Twitch stream and/or a Q&A video. I can read a lot faster than people can talk, normally.

Last year, I tried to watch one of the reveal streams and we were 15 minutes in and nothing and actually been said yet, so I abandoned it. Life it too short to spend an hour to get the same information that can be summarized and read in 5 minutes.

Yeah, I definitely don't have the patience to watch through these entire videos. I end up forwarding through most of them and just pausing to look at the screenshots as they come up.

Also, I'm much more of a visual person than audio. I'm not going to retain someone listing off a bunch of features but if I can read that information it will stick.

Completely agree. I think the marketing roll-out should be more diverse to appeal to different demographics. Like the earlier posters, I have no interest in sitting through an hour-long video to learn about the changes in the new version. Please give me the option to learn about the changes in a concise, written, executive summary. Thanks!

I have two monitors so I usually put the video on one screen while playing a game on the other. Something that I can stop and watch the video if something interesting comes on.

Yeah, you guys are doing it wrong. Get a chill game that is slow-paced (truck simulator?) or turn-based (Civilization?) and have the video as background noise. Have a coffee and a donut or two. Perfect.

Kind of like Westheim, I sometimes watch sports on TV and mute the volume while I listen to what is going on in Twitch.

I use (FS19)Farming Simulator to pass the time. I used to use ETS2 then ATS but I was too disappointed in how long it took to roll out states so I set it all aside and went back to FS19.
