Exclamation Payment Error

My pre-ordered purchase of OOTP 22 was prompted with, "an unexpected error occurred, and we are currently not able to accept payment." The purchase amount, however, was withdrawn from my bank account. This is my first time pre-ordering OOTP, please help!

Near the top of the forum in the red section there is a tab for FAQ. Click that and then near the bottom on the right side there is a tab to contact the developers. That should get you to where you can inquire about the payment. Hope that helps. They are good about helping but it might take a couple days.

Your best bet is probably getting directly in touch with FastSpring, which is the company that handles our online ordering, as they have access to payment details we don't.

If that doesn't work for some reason, you can also send a message directly to us at support@ootpdevelopments.com and the support guys will do what they can to help out.

I had the same thing happen to me, but I did receive a license code in e-mail. If you received a code you should be good to go.

I have since not received a license code nor any e-mail confirming the transaction. Now, I am just awaiting a reply from FastSpring after notifying them of the issue as per Lukas' recommendation. Hope to get a clear-up soon.

Although frustrating that's proof that they (Fastspring) mucked up. If you get more delays dispute it via your card. That usually does it.

Certainly was a mishap from them. Literally, took 5 days to resolve this issue since lodging a help request, but glad it's all fixed now.
