Postponed and Suspended Games
I can't find any mention of anyone else with this issue anywhere. Playing the game for the first time in few months and starting a new save this week, I updated from 21.3.54 to the final patch and I'm finding very different patterns of rainouts.
I have rainouts allowed for all my leagues, and in one save where there were just over 3000 games scheduled per season, I used to get at least one game postponed on most days (I have quite high rain percentages set in the weather database to try to accurately reflect my league's setting in the UK). Now I'm seeing only a handful postponed all season, none at all in some tests, while most rainouts which do occur are suspended games which are restarted later. Previously I can only recall one of those out of tens of thousands of games. I've tested this out in various saves and tried creating new leagues, all with the same pattern. Was something changed in a patch, am I missing a setting or is there some issue with my installation? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. |

Figured out a pattern - previously I had been using real-time simulation then switched to quick-playing games, and there seems to be a significant difference between them.
I'm getting postponements again in the real-time simulation - several a day, just as before. Quick-play or just sim forwards to the next day, and there are none. Is this by design? |
