What's the best way to merge teams and/or leagues together?

What's the best way to merge two or more teams and/or leagues together between seasons, whether or not they have minor league affiliates or not? I will be going into the 1919 season for my test game soon, and I might want to merge certain existing organizations together.

Even if the relevant major league teams aren't from the same overall league, if and when I may want or need to do that at some point at least once, if not more than once, I'd really like to know, if possible. Please advise if you like and can. Thank you in advance for your help and all, of course. CD out.

You can merge rosters with drag & drop.

You can't drag and drop between organizations. But there is a workaround. Turn on commissioner mode. Go to the trade screen and set the two teams Now force trade 5 players at a time to the other team. Taking nothing back. 5 players is the max you can trade at one time. Then go back to the roster and release the extra players, or whatever you plan to do with them.

Thank you for your suggestion or suggestions here. Maybe we should have the ability to merge teams and/or leagues together if and when we so choose, if they don't necessarily merge together automatically, especially in relation to non-historical games.
