The 3D Ballpark Construction Kit in v.22

It's probably too late in the game to make any official requests for 22, but I was just monkeying around with the 3D Ballpark Construction Kit for the first time and it's pretty dang awesome. I wish I had given it more than a cursory glance a bit sooner. Hopefully, it's functionality has been expanded a pinch in the upcoming version.

It would be great, for example, if we could add things like domes (retractable or otherwise) to our stadiums, and had more grass options along with more construction objects available.

Here's to hope.

Agreed. This was a huge step for OOTP and one if if not the best new features in years. Hope to see it expanded

Plus 2 - I would like to see the game come with 30 - 40 premade fictional stadiums as well as expanding on the option to design your own.

I thought I read somewhere a post from Markus saying that all the real MLB Stadiums were being redone in full 3D for 22. Can't find the post, was a while back. This would be a welcome addition/upgrade on the current models.

Agreed. I've said this before, but the ideal situation would be one fictional stadium for all of the fictional logos in the game. As a start 16 or 32 would be nice.

Although there are like 800 or so logos, so...

On that subject, it would be cool if the default logos were a consistent style (eg all circular, which I know there's a mod for).

If true, that will be fantastic. One has only to take a cursory glance at the stellar work that's been done by our uber-talented 3D ballpark modders to realize what's possible. In fact, I dare say Markus & co. actually have their work cut out for them. Modders like Silvam, eriqjaffe, Nielsoncp, etc. have really raised the bar.

I'd like fictional ballparks/stadiums reflecting various eras of baseball--19th century, dead ball, 30s-40s, 50s-60s, 70s-80s--either pre-made or as features you could select in the ballpark maker. (Of course, a pristine set of real historical MLB parks would be cool, too, but I think the modders have that covered adequately.)

It would be great if somehow a program like Sketchup could be imported into the game so that we can actually build from the ground up. So that we can actually import pictures and textures. Maybe at some point the Construction Kit will be that powerful.
