I wish him a full recovery
Auto accidents are the most dangerous thing that most of us do on a daily basis. Be careful and take your time out there everyone.

Not life-threatening, but I got to think this is it for him professionally, though. On top of his back problems - he was still recovering from his fifth back surgery when this happened - the injuries to his legs, tough to read about, have doctors wondering if he will even be able to walk normally again. Miracles do happen, but for Woods to be on a PGA golf course again as a competitor is going to take one, apparently.

Indeed. And this is at least his second major crash, is it not? The one in Florida 10 or so years ago was just down the road from where my daughter was living at the time.

Not to turn this thread into an indictment of his life, because I think he is clean and sober now, but yes.
But that was a very minor accident, and he was high on pain pills at the time and may or may not have had his ass beaten by his now ex-wife right beforehand by a golf club after she found out that he had slept with any woman with two legs.
He backed his SUV into a fire hydrant and had some facial injuries that were not really consistent with the accident.
But that was 11 years ago. His career went downhill after that due to back injuries.
But he seems to be clean and sober now and has been through therapy. Hopefully he makes a full recovery from this latest crash.

The amazing thing is that when Tiger made his comeback, had trouble making cuts, I thought he was done. He proved me wrong muy winning one more Major to his list, I think he's done now, but this is one of the most threatening non-golf-related injuries I ican imagine.

He will try to play again if his doctors let him (or possibly if they don't!" because that's who he is and what he does. I counted him out once. Never again.
