Hey guys.

The last few months of minor league baseball shakeups have made me really feel for communities caught in the crossfire of MLB wanting to take control of the minors under the guise of cost cutting measures.

I won't get into it much more, but last summer I had an idea for an OOTP save to build an MLB/MILB promotion/relegation system. The save file got corrupted after a few years and I dropped it.

With the recent cut teams twisting into place in various prospect and independent leagues, on top of the Appalachian league turning into a Wood Bat league, the idea of a massive Pro/Rel system has heated up again in my mind. This time including independent leagues this time. I laid out the system in a tweet and need to build it in game.

ANYWAY there's some teams that don't have homes in new leagues yet. Some that come to mind are the Lancaster Jethawks, West Virginia Power, and Hagerstown Suns. I figure I lean into it and create a lowest-tier independent league with possible promotion upwards with recent teams who have been put on hold or died completely. I have graphics from the last few games I've bought so it wouldn't be hard to revive them.

The name? The Revenge League

So feel free to use this idea if you're manually shuffling around OOTP 21 to fit the real 2021 system.
