Help my teams gone

My team didnt make the playoffs so I simed through all of them, when it finished I got the alert with my season score and then my team is just gone. All of my players now say they have no team, it still says I manage the team but when I click on the link to the team page its blank. Anyone have any ideas what could have happened?
It was an expansion team in a historical league.

If you created an expansion team that did not exist in real life, it would disappear within a day or two of the end of the World Series as that's when the game gets all set up for the following season as far as which teams existed that coming year, etc.

Conversely, if you took over a real-life expansion team and it disappeared after the season ended, that sounds like a bug.
