Patch and On-Line Leagues
The NOBL is nearing the end of our 3rd playoffs. After the World Series we are planning on switching form OOTP4 to OOTP5 with the latest patch. Are their any problems with the new patch as relates to on-line leagues? I've scanned the topics on the boards, but everything looks ok aside from some of the AI features.
I've been asked by one owner to convert to OOTP5 before we "proceed to next season" because the draft pool will be better. Are there any other tricks like this that any of you have found? Thanks in advance.

Converting to v5 before you flip the end-of-season file will also insure that your minors and playoffs stats get carried over to the next season, as well as create the almanac. Congrats on making it to season #3.

The one negative of switching BEFORE you roll your season over, is arbitration.
I would personally turn it off for the rollover. |

The one problem you'll find, with arbitration, is that you'll have some players who would normally be eligible for arbitration show up as free agents (not sure if this was fixed). This is normally for players headed into their last year of their first contract.
