New MILB Alignment Quickstart

This quickstart file starts in 2020, but has the 2021 MiLB alignments and affiliations. They're as accurate as I can make them. I did have to guess on some divisional alignments, but I've added the Mid-Atlantic League, moved the indie ball teams into AAA, and adjusted all the affiliations.

This file was built off the full NCAA/NJCAA feeder league quickstart (I forget who posted it, I'll edit this and add that later, but thank you, that QS is awesome).



I've added two summer college leagues:
MLB Draft League
Cape Cod Baseball League

Deleted all second teams from AZL, GCL & DRL.



File includes full logos, and caps/jerseys for all pro teams + the two summer college leagues.


Most of the graphics files have been compiled from around this forum (thank you to everyone for sharing your work). I've salvaged some graphics from the photobucket watermark and filled in some blanks.



For the league I launched off this, in 2021 I added the WBC, WBSC U-23 World Cup & the Futures Collegiate Baseball League. I realigned MLB to delete Central Divisions (and Wild Card playoffs), moved Milwaukee back to the AL and Houston & Tampa Bay to the NL.

I want to make a version 2 that adds real world high school teams, Perfect Game travel-ball and American Legion World Series. Plus NECBL, Northwoods & West Coast League.

Why?

Because I hate my CPU and RAM...

Ultimate goal is to be able to simulate a player's entire career from high school through travel leagues into college, summer college, affiliated, indie ball and international play.

Flaws with these files:
- Not all logos files' naming structure match. You may have to select some logos.
- No college caps/uniforms
- Some graphic files are mis-sized (not perfectly square).
- MLBRL & Cape Cod stadiums are not realistic (names are correct, stats are not).

MLB rosters up to date?

The base template is Mr.Perfect's NCAA feeder, which was uploaded mid-summer, so that was the last roster update.

I'm working on getting the template to work, found a few more bugs that I want to chase. Once it's got everything I want working the way it should, I'll get the rosters updated.

Might take somebody else Roster file that's updated Rosters that was just posted and use it for MLB/MILB rosters.

this is great. few things though. what is up with the ages? its like everyone is 3 years younger then they are supposed to be. also there is a lot of top prospects that got sent to Free Agency, i guess when you realigned everything. wander franco shane baz exc.

Yeah, I'm still learning about world building in game. The free agency issue is from minor league realignment. The way the game handles minor league affiliates (I think) is that the players are married to the assigned team rather than the parent organization. So if I'm getting carried by the Yankees and I'm assigned to Staten Island, in the game, I become a free agent when the SI Yankees/NYP League lose their PDC.
