is it too much to ask for an option to use a csv files to add players?

years ago we had the option and it was great...able to customize players like crazy...fun fun fun...

and then suddenly that option was gone...i don't know why but it was no longer allowed and we had to use the historical DB exclusively...

can we go back to that?

or have some kind of historical DB editor?

i much rather have that then the usual interface updates we get every year...

You can still add players via .csv

This functionality never changed afaik.

Just export the rosters from function found in League Settings > League Actions > Import/Export then edit the resulting file and reimport it.

The thing to keep in mind here though, is you cannot add new id's to the .csv. So if you want to add new players via this method, you need to first create a bunch of extra fictional players. Then use those players ids/lines to overwrite with whatever players you want to add in the .csv file, reimport the file and you're good to go.

Can we get more info ported to the .csv files. IE adaptability and other ratings.

i tried the export thing with a few players...its works but very inconsistent which surprised me.

how could years be missing from a player on the export?

shows up in the program but when i export, some years AND players are missing...weirdness

have you ever run into that?

imported from historical odb snd it worked fine...exported player stats files...burkett shows up in the fielding txt file but missing in the batters txt file.

go figure...
