Assigning Scouts

This may be a dumb question, but how do I assign a scout to a specific area, team or league? Thanks!

With the new scouting interface, assign the particular scout to that Region, and they should cover them.

How do you assign a scout to a region?

As far as I can see, you can only hire scouts who have pre-assigned strengths in scouting ability, potential and regions.

The only role you can assign seems to be your Head or Advance scout. As well, as to prioritize scouting priorities and regions.

Am I missing something?
