Yet Another Stamina Post
Brusdar Graterol was a beast for me down the stretch. He started 8 games and was lights out at 50 stamina.
The first player development report of the offseason had him inexplicably lose 10 stamina. My plan was to keep him in the rotation, but now... With no injury, and no other discernible reason for a guy to lose stamina, I thought I’d ask: Is this normal for a young guy (he’ll be going into his age 23 season next year)? He’s still listed as a “future starter.” Hm.

Keep him in your rotation. You might have to have a short leash on him though. I started someone with 35 stamina for 2 seasons, he was like a 4-5 inning guy for me. At that point he is like a long reliever in a bullpen day.

Is there anything with his personality/work ethic that might have contributed?

I have an SP with 40 Stamina that finished top 5 in the Cy young. Typically goes 5-6 innings each outing. It’s not a death sentence. If he checks all the other boxes, keep him in the rotation.

Did he have any other changes, or just the stamina drop?
Any chance you could post a profile screen shot? Last edited by Bluenoser; 01-06-2021 at 08:23 AM. |
