What causes players to import as free agents instead of the team you want?

I'm importing players into the game to make an alltime league, and I've imported them team-by-team and, for the most part, it's worked as expected. However, there are a few teams where the players import as free agents instead of the team i designate in notepad. I've used the same format for all players. I've checked and the team abbreviation in notepad is the same as the team abbreviation in the game. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Last edited by circlechange11; 12-19-2020 at 07:19 PM.
