An OOTP thing I'd like to see

When I've re-created the Expos in OOTP, the game autogenerates with the classic Expos logo & uniform. Don't know how possible this is in FHM, but it'd be a really cool option for those who want to quickly and easily bring back teams without having to do a lot of customization.

Very excited for the FHM7 launch.

You can do this by importing a historical team in 6 and will be in 7 as well.

You mean the "Add Hist. Team" option in league structure on July 1? I like that and yes, it does exactly what I'm talking about. The issue is that the list of potential historical teams is somewhat limited. You have to delete the Carolina Hurricanes and recreate them pre-1997-98 to make the Whalers, for example...and if I remember correctly, that sends the 'Canes roster over to the Whalers?

Sorry, there may be a way easier way to do this that I just missed.

You would have to sign all the players over in Commissioner Mode, or if you wanted to do a Historical team you could import all the players in too. Not the most ideal but still doable. It doesn't take too long to do. The other could change on the future though.

One thing from OOTP I'd like to see in FHM 7 is the option to make a retired player become a coach.

Happens automatically, more often to the guys with coach-like attributes (high leadership, professionalism, coachability, etc.)

That makes sense. I just like making expansion Whalers & Nordiques teams (quite a bit, actually) while leaving the rest of the league largely in place. I don't really mind manually adjusting jerseys, colors, etc, and generally I need to make tweaks to the arena / fan loyalty / market size from a generic expansion team to fit the sim anyways. Just seems like it's an easier process in OOTP than FHM right now.

Thanks for the responses. I don't know how you guys manage to balance rolling out this product with responding to all of our questions, but it's awesome.
