Stepping up your game

Congrats on the 2D engine and can not wait -
some thoughts:
<< Having the names visible on the ice vs the numbers seems to make much more sense. I know the names - numbers are meaningless, especially for other teams I am playing
<< no mention of any changes to the trade system - suggestions to make the trade work from other GM's -
<< any updates to the storylines and general news ?
<< simming by period would be a welcome return
<< any thoughts to a game summary at the end similar to OOTP - citing key moments in the game or game changing events -
Either way - am looking forward to this version as I have every previous version - it is the best NHL sim available. Thanks

The 2D presentation is a HUGE advance for this "franchise". I've seen two demo clips (the trailer and the Youtube discussion with Jeff and Adam) and they appear to vary regarding SIM options while watching the 2D game. In one version there is only a SIM TO END button, but the other option had that button plus a SIM button. I'm assuming the SIM button would open options such as sim to end of period. I very much hope that type of option will be implemented here.

Nope - the sim to end of the period was removed a couple versions ago for unexplained reason and never put back in (again no reason why)
Deal breaker for me
