Pitayeros de Amacueca
I'm still looking for a logo for this team, so if anyone wants to help me out with that please feel free to do so. Also, no caps since I'd like them to have the logo andn ot just a letter A.
The municipality of Amacueca, from nahuatl "place of the amates." Located 1 hour from the capital city of Guadalajara, next to the Laguna de Sayula, this small town of only 5 thousand people is known for its pitaya production. This multicolored fruit inspired the team's name and colors. ![]()

From here on, all logos were taken from cephasjames' 5000+ logo pack.
Cabo Corrientes, or "Cape of Currents" in english, is a small municipality of only 9 thousand people located just south of Puerto Vallarta. Due to it being a coastal town, I have chosen the nickname of Sharks. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Capitanes de Chapala
This turistic town, named after the neighboring lake, will be home to the Captains. I chose this name due the logical relation between the city and the lake.

Vaqueros de El Alto
San Miguel el Alto, located in the Altos region of Jalisco, is a municipality of almost 33 thousand people. It is known for its textile and animal industry. It is recognized as a "Historical Monuments Zone" by the mexican Institute of Anthropology and History.

Leones de Guadalajara
1 million people live in the capital of Jalisco, with 4 million more living in the adhered Metropolitan Zone. It is a hub for economics, politics, culture and is one of the most productive cities in the world, dubbed "The Mexican Silicon Valley." I have chosen the lion as the mascot for this team as it is a symbol of the city, found in several monuments around the city as well as in the coat of arms and flags of both city and state.

Mineros de Mascota
Mascota, from the Teco Amaxacotlán, "place of deer and snakes." The "Emerald of the Sierra" used to be a mine town in the colonial era. Although the mines are no longer active and this town is now more known for tourism and its proximity to Puerto Vallarta, I have chosen the nickname of The Miners for the team.

Marlines de Puerto Vallarta
The 4th most important beach in Mexico, Puerto Vallarta has grown into a major tourist destination and one of the most important port cities in the country. The sailfish or marlin can be seen commonly in the bay, as well as the city's coat of arms, so I chose it as the mascot for the team as well.

Águilas de Zapopan
Zapopan, along with Guadalajara, Tlaquepaque, Tonalá, Tlajomulco, El Salto, Ixtlahuacán and Juanacatlán, make up the second largest metropolitan zone in the country. Its name comes from nahuatl, meaning "place of the sapote trees." It is known, amongst other things, for hosting the Chivas soccer team and the Charros de Jalisco baseball team, as well as the Virgin of Zapopan which has been recognized by several popes including a visit by pope John Paul II.
I have chosen the eagle as the team's mascot due to its presence in the region as well as the monumental eagles symbolizing the entrances to the city. ![]() ![]()

jsg224, thank you for sharing your teams with us.
You did them well... I like the way you always have good contrast on your jerseys and caps. The team names and letters show up very well. Nice team colors, too. |

Thanks for the feedback EC, I appreciate it. Hopefully someone looking to expand on the LMB or looking to add a mexican team to their leagues can make good use of these concepts.
