Roster Mystery

So, I picked up Future Legend Gavin Lux and added him to my roster today. I set him up as a bench bat, adjusted his strategies, and submitted the updated roster with him. But when I checked my team a few hours later, Lux was not only not on the roster but was deactivated. Instead, Anthony Bemboom was on the roster in his place.

Baffled, I put Bemboom on the reserve roster, then deactivated him so I could Activate Lux and put him on the main roster. But when I tried to put Lux on the main roster, I discovered that he had the 14-game timer on him, as if I had just put him on the reserve roster.

Huh?

Sometimes, while you are making changes the game will simulate, but you won't get notified. Then, when you submit you are not "current" and your changes will not take effect. Always make sure when making changes to check to see when the next simulation will take place and judge whether you will have enough time. I'm surprised you got hit with the 14-day timer, though, so maybe something else was going on here.

The 14 day thing seems to be buggy. When listing players from the reserve roster, the 51st card (that activates the 50 card limit message) will be given 14 days when it's returned to the reserve roster.

Yeah, that's the strange thing. If it was simply a matter of submitting during a simulation, why is it that I ended up with Anthony freakin' Bemboom on the active roster instead of Graig Nettles, who was the guy I put on the reserve roster just a few seconds before adding Lux?

I'm also a compulsive Team Submitter, clicking on that button every time I make a change (add Lux, Submit, slot Lux into bench roles, Submit, adjust Lux's strategies, Submit, etc.), so if it were in the middle of a simulation, it must have been a long simulation lag that didn't recognize several submissions over the course of several minutes.

Somehow the Nettles drop worked but the Lux add didn't, and I suppose Bemboom was the first pull of the first pack I ripped afterwards, and he got automatically added to the active roster to fill the spot vacated by Nettles and not filled by Lux?

It's probably not going to make much of a difference (given my team's composition, Lux as a bench bat is only a marginal improvement over Nettles, who is back on the roster while Lux waits out his 14 days), but with a team on the edge of contention in the last weeks of the 2052 season, it's a bit annoying.
