Is that for real?
Would love to find a pic of Lenny Randle trying to blow that ball foul in the Kingdome.

and, at the same time that this is the 1st topic in this section, the 1st topic in OT right now is titled "my own personal deep throat".

Oh, that's great! See what you simmers are missing out on
(Granted, you might play a thousand games and never see something like this, but . . . you get the idea.)

I've done this myself in a college game. It's not cheating - it's overcoming and adapting to an open situation.
I've played thousands of games on OOTP5 and still havent seen that play!!

I've played tons of games myself, and never saw that one either....just when you think you've seen all the play-by-play calls, a new one seems to pop up!!!

I saw someone do that in a replay of a MLB game. I believe it was during a "This Week in Baseball." It was the part where "You Make the Call." Some third baseman did exactly what was described... fell flat on his belly and blew the ball foul. I don't remember the team, but I am almost certain it was on turf.
The correct call was not a "K" or even a foul ball. The batter was awarded first base. The 3B had interefered to directly change the course of the ball (that was not the exact language... this was over 10 years ago and I have had many beers since then).
