New player pool for historical leagues

I have not done much with starting an historical league and letting it run for multiple years. If I start a 1995 historical sim, will new players entering the league be historical or fictional or a mix? Are there settings that affect this?

If you did not randomize the historical pool, it should be the pool that was in real life, all the players that started their careers in 1995.

I was thinking more as the league progresses. Will the 1998 class of new International, high school and college players be historical or will they be fictional.

If you have "Automatically import real historical rookies" box checked they will come in the year they were draft eligible.

Okay, I don't know how things work when using the real minors feature. But, if you're doing a straight historical league, players are going to appear in the draft the offseason prior to the year they made their MLB debut. So Alan Trammell will appear in the amateur draft following the 1976 season/prior to 77 season. Roger Clemens will arrive for the 1983 draft prior to the 84 season.

Thanks for the replies. In the league setup I am using, there will be no minors, but I was hoping that historical players would come through the amateur draft (couldn't for the life of me think of the work "amateur" for my last post.)
