Additional family connections in OOTP...

Simple concept: In a fictional league (or the real setup in future years), I would like to see the game generate, and better empahsize on player pages, siblings (including the occasional set of twins). Similarly, I'd like to see more variety for when baseball players have a child that makes the pros, and not just the child always being a Jr. (Not that we couldn't include those, of course...)

More importantly, I'd like to see some of these baseball family ties be used to influence teams. If Jake Smith had a good major career with New York, and Jake Smith Jr. gets drafted by Los Angeles but wants to be traded, it would be neat to see Jake Jr. suggest he wants to go to New York because Jake Sr. was successful there. This can also apply to siblings wanting to play with each other (and should definitely apply to twin siblings).

Hope that made sense...

I agree. I think it is something that is probably harder to implement than it sounds, and would definitely increase the complexity of the player database (and therefore file size of saves) though. Now, for most people these days that's not a concern, but it might be for some still.

This could also work inversely, like how a bad experience in the Yankees clubhouse when his father played there made Ken Griffey Jr. Hate the Yankees for life.

That would be amazing for possible storylines for each save, so it definitely has my vote. Anything that adds complexity and immersion to saves is a plus in my book.
