A question for game veterans

I've only played this game since May. V21 is my first experience.
I set up a fictional league and have played 2 complete seasons.
I initially chose to only have reserve rosters and no minor leagues.
Is there a way to add a single level feeder minor league without losing my
two years of records and player relationships.
I tried what I thought was the way to do that but all the players in my
major league got dumped into a free agent pool and my current league showed no longer had any teams in it.
I had to reload from a prior save and now have to replay the championship
series.

Ctrane have you tried going to "league settings" then to the "leagues and teams tab" and then to "league actions" and selecting Add Minor/Feeder League? From there you should be able to add as many minor league levels that you would like. Or create a college or high school feeder or all of the above.
