No stats for DH's?

I play a DH only league (same as actual MLB this year).

On the STATS page, I am able to get the stat leaders for each position - except for DH.

Below I have searched for Statistics by making a selections in LEAGUE SCOPE, PLAYERS &, finally, POSITION. This allows getting the top offensive performers statistically at every position (Combined,P, C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, LF, CF & RF). Pitchers don't bat in my league (or MLB this year). But there is NOT a choice for DH in the drop down menu.

Would it be possible to add the to the game?. The universal DH is likely on the horizon and many leagues now are already DH only leagues.

Or...is there another way to get the Stats page to show the Stats fo Dh's?

I don't think there are any players whose position is set as 'DH', most guys that are DHing are listed at another position (i.e. David Ortiz is listed as a 1B).

Agreed. Most players positions are not listed as DH.

But in this instance the stats by position page as referenced here is not determined by a players listed position. They are determined by the position the player plays the most.

I.E.: in my game Bake McBride's primary position is RF. But my RF is Jimmy Wynn, who is also listed as a right fielder. McBride plays primarily in LF on my team - probably 90% or more of the time. On the stats by position page he shows up on the LF page even though he is listed as a RF. There are several other players where that happens as well. Tony Batista is listed as 3B but plays primarily 2B on his team so his stats show up on the 2B stats page. Interestingly enough, when McBride leads a particular stat category, it shows his picture w/ RF next to it even when he is listed as a leader on the LF stats page.

Also, there are players whose listed primary position may be 1B or LF for instance, but are primarily used as a DH. And they don't have their stats show up on the LF or 1B stats page. Albert Belle in my league has LF as his primary position but he DHs most of the time. He doesn't show up on the LF stats page even though his numbers are better than lots of the LFs on that page. If fact, he doesn't show up anywhere unless I select "combined position".

So in other words, if a player DHs most of the time, his stats do not show up anywhere other than the combined page. From this I am deducing that all listings on the "stats page by position" are determined by the position played the most ---- not the primary position listed.

So I am still looking for a way to see which DHs have the best offensive stats. And, like I said, this DH only league mirrors today's universal DH rule.

I think the main issue is that the game does not calculate games played at DH in the fielding section of the player card, which I believe is why you cannot sort by that as a position but are seeing guys whose primary position is RF but play the majority of the time in LF and are showing up when you sort by LF. This would a something that would make a great suggestion for future versions of the game!

I will go ahead and make this a suggestion for future versions of the game - especially since there are lots of universal DH leagues these days.

I just thought I would ask here first in case there was another way to access the DH stats.
