historical advice; I'm sure I'm doing it wrong!!
I'm trying historical for the 1st time, and I'm finding name recognition is a problem. I don't want to go totally fictional, but I don't want to be able to identify the minor leaguers by their real life potential. I tried randomizing names of only minor leaguers, but it changed the major leaguers too. is there a way to randomize names in certain leagues only, and / or upcoming draft classes?

Not exactly sure of what you are trying to do, but on the Global Settings panel, on the left under PLAYER RATING SCALES, you can choose "none displayed" for Potential Ratings Scale and Potential Rating (along with Current Ratings Scale, Other Ratings scale, and Overall Rating).
Maybe your answer is somewhere in there? Good luck! |

Thanks!!!! I'm simply looking to randomize player names for minor leaguers only while keeping the major leaguers with their correct historical names. I don't want to recognize a class a talent by their name.

Should be able to randomize names in each minor league using the dropdown like in screenshot. Here I have my Triple A league selected but their is a dropdown for each league. Also your post count is 666 lol.
