Rule 5 Draft Minor Issue Fix

I would love to have the option to decline one of your rule 5 picks being returned to you. Not sure if that's possible, but here's why:

As it is now, if I sign a player to a minor league contract with a major league guarantee or free agency after 30 days at the start of free agency, and this player is drafted in the Rule 5 draft by another team, when the player is returned any time after opening day, the players salary has now been guaranteed.

So now I'm stuck with this guaranteed salary of someone I was likely going to keep in AAA for 30 days anyway. If we could simply "reject" a rule 5 pick being returned with an email notification (similar to player options) or even a "work out a trade" button, this very minor issue would be fixed.

I don't know how feasible that is but as someone who likes to add AAA depth with those kinds of contracts, I notice this issue almost every season.

I've started waiting to sign guys until after the Rule 5 Draft to avoid this issue, but have noticed I miss out a few of the better early players willing to sign these contracts.

Thanks for bringing this up. For my save, i think I might move up the Rule 5 to either the very beginning of FA or even before.
