Reserving players with drug suspensions

In an online league I'm running - a player got an 80 game suspension due to PED use. Per MLB rules - you can't replace a suspended player for disciplinary reasons BUT you can replace a player for drug reasons. Why does this game not allow you to reserve a player with a drug suspension? It's 80 games so I don't want the team to lose the player outright but they need the roster spot.

Any suggestions?

Have the Commish edit the player onto the 60 day DL. Even though it's 60 days, you can leave him there for 80.

As to why the game doesn't follow the rule, that's because the game doesn't include PED/Drug suspensions. It's not allowed due to the licensing agreement with MLB/MLBPA.

This suspension must have been added in by your Commish?
