Missing scouting director

Hi.

Just started a new game with the Dodgers, and when i wanted to go into my team personnel page to checkout my scouting director, and possibly replace him, i can´t find an employed SC. Neither can i offer contract to a possible scouting director from the staff screen, as the scouting director choice is not there......

Is there anything i am obviously missing here.... Have been able in my Mets save to hire a SC, so cant really understand why i cant in my dodgers game...
I am only playing as a GM....

Jeeessuuss, how the hell have i managed to completely turn off the scouting system.....? Thanks man, must have had a TOTAL brain freeze or something when setting up my second game.....

Appreciate your help
