DD Facepack status

just an fyi for anyone interested.

I'm working semi-feverishly (okay, moderately steadily) on the next update:

- updating more players currently in the wrong uniform
- replacing jpgs with newer versions from MLB.com
- replacing bmps with better versions as I find them
- and the biggie - adding some minor leaguers. It still wont be everybody, but I'm finding a lot more decent-quality shots for minor leaguers than I expected, so I figured I'd add what I find. These wont be blurry head shots - if I can't find a decent, useable picture, it wont be in.

just playing around with GForces beta rosters, I found that I had most of the guys on Anaheim and Arizona (the first 2 teams I've done). I'd guess I have about 90% of those players represented now (as opposed to about 75% before). I know he's adding more players in his next release, so that number will probably go down, but I will include as many as I can find.

No firm date - probably about two weeks or so.

Awesome man, i was just in these forums to find your website.

This pack has replaced my own as my favorite, the double player pics really make the set.

How come the jpgs don't show up in the game? I thought they were originally supposed to. Just the bmps show up. Or am I doing something wrong?

originally, the game was going to have full jpg support. it didn't quite work out, so now the game uses jpgs in one spot - the player html reports (so jpgs will show up online). bmps are still used for the player editor screen.
