Will the Dev ever release a new version of this game any time soon? I mean it's been so many years now since the last version came out. It would be nice If the Dev could release a newer version with new features such as a career mode.

Paul is the only programmer for the game, and he has job and family responsibilities, so is only able to work on this in his spare time. It will be done, it's just going to take us a lot of patience.....

i ACTUALLY HAVE heard from Paul i'm not sure how much detail I can divulge but he did ask how many of you are using 2.5 and or 2013 I told him based on what I have seen on here the MAJORITY of you are using 2.5 anything else i cant mention for now but finally a break in the mystery

Maybe that should be "overwhelming majority." I bought 2013, found it to be a disaster, and went back to 2.5. At this point, my trust in Paul's ability to design a boxing game that actually works is zero. I wish he would sell whatever rights he owns to someone else and move on.

I will keep an open mind about any new game as I'm in no hurry to see one. TB 2.5 works fine for me. I don't need a career mode but I imagine others would like to see one. The market is shrinking. If the sport produces another once-in-a generation star in the heavyweight class that mops the floor with his oppo we might see a resurgence of interest in a boxing game, even a text-based one.

We've all spent so much time and effort in creating new fighters and collecting photos, I'd be very reluctant to abandon my Title Bout AU for a totally new game. The fact there hasn't been one in the last ten years speaks volumes.

For those who are interested, there's a developer over at Greydog Software named Derek who is extremely interested in working on a boxing sim.

In fact, he reached out to OOTP recently to discuss helping get Title Bout to it's desired state. Unfortunately, they never responded to him. If they decide not to include him to get Title Bout done, he may need to start a new game from scratch - but it seems he's actually already got started and would be open to input from those in this community.

The Developer who is developing Title Bout obviously has no respect for anyone or any of us. If the Dev ever decides to release a new version I refuse to support them at all. I won't be buying another Title Bout game from them ever again.

There is a link somewhere but I can't find it right now. I just picked up a new copy a little while ago. A link to the most recent patch was also posted.
