Game Rating: Hows it works?

Under Game Performances i can see what i assume to be the best individual performance in one game. But how it works?

Because i see, that Connor McDavid has GR = 100, but he had 0 goals and 0 assists in that game.

I think I recently read 50-60 is average, 70-80 being very good etc...

Yes, I never saw overall rating of 100. I saw only one, either it's offensive one or defensive one.

It is not overall game rating. It is a rating for a single game.
