The 1000 foot long Triple!

Does anyone else have this happening? Spring Training Ballpark: the batter hits a sizzling line drive down the first base line which flies into foul territory, and is hit so hard it goes through the fence and into the street. The right fielder is after it like a shot, and he runs through the fence, out of the stadium, and keeps running until his retrieves the ball out in the street two blocks away! He then unleashes an astounding throw back into the park which flies on a bounce to third base, just missing a chance to nail the batter. I've seen this incredible action about 3 times in the first 10 games of the spring season. I knew these guys were good, but I didn't think they were that good.

What happens, I think, is that the sim engine creates a play - say, 100 EV down the left-field line. Then, there's a bug with the stadium dimensions.

The animation has to make sense of this and you get what you see.

The play *should* have been a triple. And it was, just the animation had to deal with something screwy.
