Feeder League Question

Started a fictional universe with feeder leagues and liking what I am seeing as I sim into the future.

While I understand the system cannot be setup so HS feeds directly to JuCo/College, I do know HS players can make it onto those teams as I have seen examples already.

My question:

Assuming the draft percentage for HS is 40%, if you make a large league of HS teams, will you end up seeing more HS players in the college system? There would theoretically be a much bigger pool of HS players, but no change in the average that get drafted?

Or does that not work the way I am thinking?

it would be ideal if you could have a HS league feed into a college league and then get drafted by the pro league, wouldn't it

I know HS players will make it to the college leagues as I saw examples. I was just curious in the current game, if having a bigger pool of HS could mean seeing more that end up on a college team.

I believe it should. When I have used feeder leagues in the past, I usually set up a large high school league and saw quite a few who went through the college ranks.

Awesome. Thanks for your reply. I will bump it up on my end to see how it plays out.
