installing mods

I have never used any mods at all but im so eager to install some, can you can you tell me where they go once they are downloaded? how to install them and how to use them?

You have to be more specific. What mod? Jerseys, ballcaps, logos, sounds, 2d stadiums, 3d stadiums. Different types go in different folders. Silvam14 has a tutorial on how to install 3d stadiums.

I just do not understand how to install any of it, do i just put those items in their specific folders of the game and thats it? i get real confused because when i download some of the files they are listed by individual letters, i apologize because i do have a bit of brain damage from a car wreck witch scarred part of my brain so i just need a bit of explanation if you do not mind

I can't help unless you state what mod you are trying to install. You can also ask the author of the mod. Your type of install also makes a difference. Steam, default or custom location all have different locations. Basically jerseys go in the "jersey" folder, ballcaps in the "ballcaps" folder. Logos in the "logo" folder. Follow silvam14's tutorial for 3d stadiums.
