Two Grand Slams In A Perfect Team Game

One of my players, Ty Cobb, hit two grand slams in a Perfect Team game today. As in regular baseball, this is a rare thing to be done.

Don't they reward us players with more PP for achieving rare feats like this?

Ya I wish as part of new content releases each week or so there were achievement releases as well. Seems like such a key aspect of the ongoing game. This could even be crowdsourced.

I woke up to a 2,500 PP achievement for striking out 4 batters in an inning.

Yeah, there's no explicit "team hits X hr in a game" achievement, true. But unless if you happened to hit 11 solo HR, by 11 different players, and avoided scoring in one inning, and also had someone in the starting lineup not get a hit, you're bound to get some points.

And yeah, in a lot of these cases, we could have given something specific for these, but the problems are we have to explicitly define the criteria, and most of the time players will get a bunch of other achievements. In the original post, they got unlucky that Cobb didn't get an extra 2 RBI, since the reward for a 10 RBI game is a big jump up from the 8 RBI game. And sometimes we do try to avoid having too many rewards for games where you're already either piling up a ton of rewards or likely to pile in a bunch.

I am not sure if anyone has ever hit 5 HR's in a game before here, but they will have earned thousands of point along the way to those 5 HR's as well. Should they also not get the reward for hitting 5 HR's, breaking a MLB record?

I think breaking MLB records are worth way more than just regular rewards. But that may be just me.
