Creating Fictional League Using Real Players
I'm sure this has been posted before, but I want to create a fictional league of 16 teams using real MLB players. I want to draft my players for my team using automated draft. How do I do this? Thanks

That's what I want to use. MLB players. I create a fictional league of 16 teams. I want to do a draft using real MLB players, but I'm lost how to do it. Yeah I'm a virgin at OOTP21

Alright, well there is probably an easier way to do this, but since no one else has responded, here is how I'd do it: 1) Start an mlb game with current players 2) Go to Game>Game Settings>Available Global Actions>Save World As Template 3)You can abandon that league or skip to step 7 (if you don't want to change the year) 4) Create Custom Game (main menu) 5) Import the template you saved (under advanced>advanced>import template) 6) Start game 7) Under MLB League Settings> Roster Functions> Clear Rosters (this will make all MLB players free agents) 8)Delete the MLB and minor leagues from the same screen as 7 by clicking league actions> Delete this league at the top right 9) Create your fictional league. Do not use an inaugural draft. 10) Schedule free agent draft That should do it. Last edited by polydamas; 06-29-2020 at 06:12 AM. |
