Relief Pitchers on All-Star Ballot
I am in the midst of a season in which my closer leads the league in saves and has converted 100% of his opportunities. Yet he is not on the all-star ballot, while my two setup men and a long reliever are. I know closers are not excluded because many are on the ballot. Does anyone know how the ballot is constructed? Maybe they use a more advanced statistic than saves to determine the most valuable pitchers? I'm just curious if anyone else has seen this kind of thing.
Thanks in advance for any help. |
