Dumb question about extensions but I need to ask
OK, because of this crazy world my life is boring so my St. Louis River Walkers is pretty much real to me, but I was wondering?
At the start of the season, if I look at my top players who might be hitting free agency just to see what they might me asking. Do they know that I am sniffing around and it could affect what they want? |

Sniffing around what?
Seems pretty realistic to me to be asking a player what kind of extension he wants in his final year. Why would a player be offended by that? I would think he'd be glad that you're interested in keeping him. Plus, whatever they're asking now will surely be different at the end of the season. There is no rule stopping you from extending players in April. Last edited by Bluenoser; 06-04-2020 at 09:01 AM. |

No but if you shop them or put them on the trading block they know it and their moral for transactions takes a hit. I'm 90% sure of that.
