SP keep getting pulled after 4 innings, 70 pitches

One thing about my OOTP playing style is that I LOVE to micromanage my team strategies. I've had something that's worked for about a year, and the last few weeks I've noticed my SP are being pulled much earlier than normal, rarely making it past 5 innings.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Was there a change in a recent patch that was unannounced? I'm trying to figure out why this is happening I've even adjusted my team strategy and it keeps happening. I'm not sure what the issue is...?

More details regarding my situation:
- In OOTP, I had SP pull strategy set at -2 (quick) thru 6th inning, +5 7th-9th. Upon my early tests of OOTP21, AI was leaving pitchers in too long in 7th+, so I adjusted to -2, +2, +3 respectively.
- This worked well until a few weeks ago, when my pitchers started not making it into the 6th inning. I adjusted 1st-6th strategy to -1 but it seems to have made no difference. I don't like to make huge swings and am trying to figure out what is going on before making further adjustments.
- Staff is typically as follows: 5 SP, 0-1 closers, 4-5 middle relievers, 1-2 long relievers, 0-2 specialists.
- Use of openers slider is -5 (never)

Do you have a pitch count set for any individual starters?

I set a pitch count of 95 for a few of my pitchers, but none otherwise.

I'm just really perplexed, because I've started noticing a change in the last few weeks. I regularly have pitchers without pitch counts pulled before 90 pitches and 5 innings after only having given up 2-3 runs. This isn't how I've understood the AI algorithm to work in the past.

I should state something else (maybe this would cause an issue?):

I have started putting batters faced limits on my bullpen pieces. All of them have a batters faced limit between 5-18. However, I do not have any such limit on my rotation.
