Help with Editing schedule/ midseason cup
Hi all,
I'm starting a new fictional league with 16 teams, 100-game season. I am using OOTP19. I want there to be a midseason cup with all 16 teams, but I am not sure how to give a break in the middle of the season for it to happen. When I made the tournament using the wizard, and re-generated both schedules, the cup and league schedules overlapped, which is not what I wanted. How can I fix this? I've seen something about extending the length of the all-star break, but I don't see that option here. I've seen something else about only needing to change a few numbers and edit the schedule, but I have no idea what that means or how I would do it. I would appreciate any help. |

You need to edit the schedule the league is using and create a gap of however long you need it. For example the schedule will show days 51, 52, 53 etc with games. You need to change all those days to start with how long you need the break so it would start with day 65,66,67 etc. This will create a 15 day break of no season games from day 51 to day 64 which is where you can set your tourney to run. This is the time consuming part because you need to make those changes through the end of the season so it ends on day 115 instead of day 100 (give or take). I use word pad and find and replace but others use faster tools that I'm not familiar with.
