Just tried to log on using my laptop, which is still on an earlier build, since I don't use it for PT often. Worked fine, so I'm guessing something got corrupted in my build 54, which has been working fine. Maybe I'll just re-install. Certainly can't lose anything, can I?

I'm in the same boat as of 08:30 CST. (last worked as of 02:00)


Both my PT20 & PT21 will not connect.

hmmm. After my first post, my game locked up and I had to reboot. And I thought, "uh-Oh!" But i reconnected fine and it still works. 9:55am ET

After an hour of no change and seeing nothing posted by OOTPD, I decided to reboot my computer and I was able to connect to PT21 with 1st attempt.

I can't login. Updated my client, restarted twice. Unable to connect to online services.

Something changed on their end or multiple people wouldn't have issues. I'm the only one who still can't connect?

I also have not been able to log in today. I saw others suggest it may be DNS however I have tried multiple external DNS providers and I was unable to login using any of them.


I know Spectrum has had outages and it's possible that the routing path had not converged when they fixed their issue. I would run a traceroute to verify however I don't know the IP address or URL that is used for the PT services.

Nothing. Rebooted computer. Reinstalled set up. Yet my lap top version is working. WTF?

I guess the fact that the problem is not very wide spread is a big part of finding the problem. Please keep plugging. I've tried everything here, short of trying to completely uninstall. Do you think that might work? Thanks.

I've been having difficulties since Friday PM. When I am able to login, I can sign up for tournaments with a bit of fuss. However when I try to play regular PT, loading time will hang up, usually when trying to download/synch the player cards.

Yesterday I ran a PING test (the one that pings Google at ping -t 8.8.8.8 ) and saw I was sending packets. A few times I got a message the IP I sent to was not responding. I assumed that was OOTP. The IP address was a ID'ed as a third party server--so OOTP was possible.

I had PC issues and today was the 1st day I tried to log in since March. I got the no connection message on 20 and 21. I did an uninstall/reinstall on both, it did not help. I'm on Steam.
