3D ballpark construction kit not working

Hey all, just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue. When I open the 3D ballpark construction kit, it all appears fine until I try to edit the ballpark. The only option that will work is the "select ballpark shape" option, and that simply switches between the 5 default shapes. All of the other options do not change the design at all. For example, when I try to change the left-field sector to element 1 from element 5, nothing happens. And when I attempt to change the distance of outfield fences, I am unable to do that also. Has anybody had any similar issues, I'm thinking it must be an issue with my files, but I have reinstalled the game numerous times and tested it in numerous saves, but it just doesn't work!
