It won't be me. Collingwood has reached its level of incompetence. My only hope is to amass 3 million points by October and go on a shopping spree when prices are low. Phase 2 underway.....

This guy did a pretty good job of setting the table, Westheim.

The Manatees started this year with a freshly pulled Cody Bellinger in CF. After hitting a sterling .216, Mr. Bellinger, who had been one of my top 5 pulls, was replaced by my new clear #1 pull:

As opposed to last season where I ended up third in a murder division, I just opened up a 10 game lead with a 38-0 1-hitter 20,030 PP win. Scored 13 runs over 6 innings against their pitching staff, then with an already wiped out bullpen I got after the batter they put out there, scoring 7 against Berra and 6 each against Gehrig, Trout, and Tulo. Ron Guidry threw 8 innings allowing a hit and a walk against 10 Ks, Bagwell hit 6 singles and walked twice in 8 plate appearances, Lajoie only went 3/8 but had 8 RBIs including a grand slam, Yaz scored 6 runs on 4 hits and 4 walks, Bellinger reached based 6 times and scored each time. We scored 10 runs in the 7th and 15 runs in the 8th, and finished with 30 hits and 20 walks. Not even like we were going up against a tanker; I mean they're not good but they have 7 perfects and the rest are diamonds and have the full live collection set.

EDIT: Thank you big game, I just drew a perfect historical Verlander. That's my 5th historical perfect starter, with Paige, Guidry, Gibson, and Richard, though Gibson and Richard are in my pen. Way better than last season where I'm still stuck on just Richard.

G304: Back in Gold...So Far, So Good

The Huntley Red Raiders are putting together a solid first half of the season back down in G304. I am tempted to attribute that to the boys using the relegation humble pie as a major motivational tool, but really, it's more likely because I finished the Luke Appling and Lou Whitaker missions, the completing of which also brought Pee Wee Reese and Hal Newhouser to the squad. Still not sure how successful this squad would be in Diamond, but, fingers crossed, that's next season's problem.

Here we are 8 games under .500 with Paragon City Heroes. Just my standard season of ''improving'' my team by buying better players to watch them flop around like fish out of water, case in point my new DH

Splits vs lefties

For some reason everyone has decided to have a really bad year defensively, I have no players over 1.000 efficiency and only 2 players with a positive ZR, and the errors have been awful.

Bay City Boomers 55-26 leading their division, the bats are still banging, just a bit less. joey Votto spent the first month hitting sub 200, but has dragged his average up to .238, his 72 walks have given him a healthy .393 OBP. SE Mike Trout started the season with 15 homers in the first month, he's only hit 3 in the last two, but he is still hitting lots of doubles and triples, he's cooled off a bit to a .946 OPS, currently up to 89 at RF, should cap as a 97 RF

Midweek table for D.369. Mount Hawke managed to go from good to bad over the last month. They've also been under performing defensively, for several seasons .

And here's D.361. Grackles have been pretty good so far, but they're definitely in the less brutal conference . I noticed that Warhawk's Black Knights started 36-24 and have gone 1-19 since . These diamond leagues can throw up some weird stuff... The Grizzlies are on the wrong end of some bad pythag numbers, so I'm rooting for them.

Actually 36-23 and 1-20 since.

My "free" (in quotes because I actually dropped like 20 bucks on each) teams don't really have much going for them aside from the live collection rewards (EDIT: I'm referring to the Black Knights and Sun Kings, the White Tigers are a money team). As good as my pulls have been with the White Tigers, I've gotten just about nothing on my other teams. Black Knights' only perfect is an Acuna that's not even on the roster, other than that they've only pulled a few 91 overall historical pitchers in Reed, White, Fossas, and Belcher and a 92 overall historical catcher in Hartnett. Sun Kings have an Arenado and a Bellinger but they've only pulled one historical diamond at all, a 97 overall Deacon Phillippe. Right now we're in the relegation zone from gold.

White Tigers is a really good team for only $20.

EDIT: I was just about to type nearly 500 packs and only 2 historical diamonds, so far. But, I hit the submit button accidentally. Then I opened my overnight packs and pulled 99 Fingers in pack 491. No one in my diamond league is using him, though, so maybe not very good?

Oh, not them, them I spent a bunch of money on, the Black Knights and Sun Kings are $20 teams.

Sorry, I guess I put that rather confusingly. But even with the amount money I put in the White Tigers have been really lucky with pulls regardless, particularly in terms of how high a percentage of the perfect cards I've pulled have been historicals. I've pulled more historical perfects than live perfects.

I've seen Fingers doing very well for one of the best teams I've come across. Think the 99's might still be pretty rare.

I'm up to 22 Perfects on Paragon City, all of them lives, also pulled 1 live perfect on all of my other teams, every one was Trout, 5 of Paragon Citys have been Trouts

As I recall 5 of my first 6 perfects last year were Noah Syndergaard.

And I'm blah-zay with 3 live perfects out of 3, (2 of them on JV team with less than 100 packs, but total packs of 600 altogether). So, quite normal.
