Create a coach / fill vacancies

Long-ish time lurker, first time poster.

Having an issue with my current sim - all rules pretty default just to get my feet wet - where there's a severe lack of available coaches in the offseason.

2 straight seasons I've had to fill in some random schmoes as pitching coaches for several farm teams because there were none available. In Commissioner Mode, when I attempt to create any sort of fictional (or multiple) coaches, I cannot. It does nothing.

I've also tried making retired players coaches and only position players will actually make the transition and be available.

Anything I'm missing? Love the game otherwise!

Multiple doesn't work for me if there are already a certain number of coaches. Have to click create a single one over and over. No idea if this is working correctly.

I'm running out of mlb trainers. There only about a dozen left for mlb and they are awful. If my old trainer retired I'll have to create a bunch of them. Scouts that favor tools appears to be low count as well.

Yeah, that's my distinct fear as well that in a couple years I'll be out of all coaches, trainers and scouts. In my game right now, I actually don't think I've seen any available trainers or scouts. Everyone is either a manager, bench coach or hitting coach.

I can't create a coach one at a time either. Might have to submit this as a bug.

Can this be solved by using another bug to your advantage? When you make a fictional league it's filled with all fictional front office personnel, which at least in other versions it was very difficult to get rid of. So, you could make a fake league or two, without players or deleting all the players, then fire all the FO staff or just delete the leagues.
