Season 60/2078 General Discussion

I won't mention that we won our 4th PL Championship in 2077 but I just did.

As for 2078, we got off to a great 1st half again &...

Bob Gibson threw the franchise's 2nd perfect game.

I don't know but he only had 7 strikeouts. So I suppose 20 balls were put in play...I did watch the replay and it seemed to me that every batter was just a little behind the fire he was bringing & it was lazy fly ball to right field city. There were at somewhere between 5-11 of those I counted, very similar.

One of the toughest outs was #27. Ripken, Jr. had to collect it deep in the hole and make a long throw to 1st. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's as tough a chance as I saw in the game. He is now out of the starting rotation.

I don't know, I collected a number of good pitchers...& he just had that one game otherwise his ERA was 5.XX

Seems stuck - and the first time I made the playoffs in a Perfect League too.

I swept the Mustangs a couple of weeks ago, too

. Got the Warbirds this week! They're sitting at the top of the league, with my Tinners not too far behind. But, with our solitary series going 2-1 to the Tinners, in my experience, it's set for the reverse in the finals - if we make it that far! 4-2 or 4-3 to the Warbirds ???

I'm geeking out over here as my all-time D.C. team is matched up in the DS against a similarly-themed Pittsburgh team!
