Just completed a full entry draft with the 2020 rosters.
I got both MacKenzie Gore and Nate Pearson in the 4th and 5th rounds. What do people think, are they ML ready or should I start them in AAA? I do have enough SP depth to have them in AAA to start with if needed. Just not sure if they are ready, and/or which level will help them develop better. I'm willing to take some lumps if they'll develop faster in the majors. |

I sort of hate to suggest this, but if your league is setup like real MLB I'd leave them in the minors for about a month like real teams to - you'll end up getting another year of team control. If they pan out, you'll appreciate that and if not...no big loss.
Plus, you said you have depth to stash them - what would you do with that depth if you start them in AAA? Trade bait? You might want that month to figure out where your weaknesses are so you can deal that depth for an upgrade. |

My owner wants me to acquire a Cy Young Award winner now too, so maybe one of those two will be the bait. But I'm going to start the season with them in AAA. |
